When will new rats be available?
ANSWER :
It really vary ; we do not breed our rats based on demand, we do when it benefits our program, which goal into progressing towards better health, temperament and conformation.
QUESTION ;
Why can't I get both sexes, even if I have two enclosures?
ANSWER :
It takes 0.5 seconds (no exaggeration) for rats to copulate (do the "deed"), while we do trust our adopters, an accidental pregnancy is extremely likely in case accidental contact between both sexes.
QUESTION ;
Why are some rats more pricy than others?
ANSWER :
Some of our rats comes from bloodline that required more work than others and/or that are harder to produce. These type of things affect the adoption fees.
QUESTION ;
Can we visit the rats in person to see your cages and meet the animals?
ANSWER :
No. It would endanger the rats by potentially introducing virus and pathogens that comes from outside.
Furthermore, our Rattery is located in our private house and I do not feel safe giving out our home address to strangers. Also, considering all of this : Covid.
